Challenge 6 – Fantastic and Funny Faces

As you walk around Rochester Cathedral, look up and see if you can spot some fantastic faces. There are lots in the area just inside the north door, why not try to count them when you next visit. They can be found in other places inside and outside the cathedral too. We don’t really know who most of them are. They could be faces of monks who lived and worked here, people from the local area, or just faces created from the imagination of the sculptor.

In this challenge, we’d like you to create your own fantastic or funny face. You probably won’t be able to carve a piece of stone, instead make your face with playdough. If you don’t have any at home here is a simple recipe
