Hopping frogs, locusts, hailstones and rivers of blood! You will hear them all in Israel in Egypt. One of Handel's most thrilling oratorios, it tells the dramatic story of the Israelites’ flight from Egypt. He employs choruses for double choir, soloists and a large orchestra to spectacular effect in describing the extraordinary events as they unfold.
