Lunchtime Concert by The Royal Tunbridge Wells Orpheus Male Voice Choir

CHOIR CROWBOROUGH 2018 (2).jpg

The choir is celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year and this lunchtime performance is a part of the celebrations. Since 1938 we have been helping  churches, local & national charities with fundraising projects. We perform the year round and have sung in many prestigious venues, such as the Royal Albert Hall, Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, and the Festival Hall. In August we will be going on a WW1 Commemorative visit to Belgium, and take part in the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate.  With a library of over 500 pieces, our repertoire is extremely wide and a typical concert will include folk songs, blues, classical, spiritual, and pop favourites, hymns and show music.

Led by Musical Director Richard Walshaw and Accompanist Adam Crane, the choir invariably delights its audiences with its four part harmonies and the power and sensitivity of its singing.
