Regular worshippers at Rochester Cathedral are eligible to join our Cathedral Roll. This is a record of individuals who regularly worship at the Cathedral and wish to be part of our community. It is completely voluntary and there is no obligation to sign up.

What is the Cathedral Roll?

As part of the Cathedrals Measure 2021, all Cathedrals must maintain a Cathedral Roll. It will allow us to effectively engage with members of our congregation and provide opportunities for participation in the life of the Cathedral.

It is similar to the Electoral Roll used in parish churches and individuals can appear on both the Cathedral Roll and a Parish Church Roll.

By joining the Cathedral Roll you will

  • Opt - in to receive important communications about news and events at the Cathedral.

  • Learn about ways to become more involved in our community

  • Be able to apply for a special licence to be married in the Cathedral, or to be baptised or confirmed here
