Learning Volunteers
Our learning volunteers help with the delivery of high quality school and group learning activities in the Cathedral.
Over the past few decades Rochester Cathedral has welcomed thousands of schoolchildren and families. Today we welcome family groups, school children and students of all ages, abilities, cultural and religious backgrounds to learn about this historic centre of Christian worship.
We have a small team of trained costumed interpreters who take on the role of historical characters to help visitors engage with the Cathedral's past. On some special days we are visited by Eggie Eagle and Rory Roffensis, our Rochester Cathedral mascots. Do stop to say hello and have a photograph with them.
