Choir performs at St Paul's Cathedral for the 369th Clergy Support Trust Festival
The Rochester Cathedral Choir joined the choirs of St Paul’s Cathedral and Durham Cathedral for the 369th Clergy Support Trust Festival at St Paul’s Cathedral on the 7th May.
The Festival is an act of worship which gives thanks for Anglican clergy whilst celebrating the work of the Clergy Support Trust. It is a wonderful opportunity for the Cathedral choirs to perform together especially in the spectacular setting of St Paul’s Cathedral.
The Clergy Support Trust Festival is the longest-running choral celebration of its kind and started in 1655. This year the music included pieces by Gabrieli, Parry, Stanford and Cecilia McDowall.
